Book Ne.ws combines information from Amazon about books, including
personal wishlists, with recent news
articles and blog
posts indexed by Google, using Yahoo Pipes and some custom code as
the glue. It started as my attempt to find blog posts about new books
written by bloggers I read. I've since extended it to search for news
and blog posts related to arbitrary Amazon wishlists. You can search for your wishlist using your name or email
address.
In addition to combining news about multiple books in a wishlist, titles of books are automatically converted to links to pages which will search for references to a single title. Similiarly, pages are created for authors which find posts about the author. Every page on this site which returns news provides a custom RSS feed link.
Finally, if you purchase a book from Amazon by following a link on this site, I make a commission through their affiliate system.
